Research integrity
Policy version 1, 6 October 2026. Sources and contributions must be attributed accurately. Fabrication, falsification and plagiarism are prohibited. Preserve data provenance, disclose limitations and negative results, and correct material errors publicly.
Before publishing
Review sources, quotations, figures, code licenses, dataset permissions and privacy, third-party assets, authorship, conflicts, material AI use, originality, factual claims and publication status. Review attestations describe human checks; they do not certify legal permission or scientific validity.
Novelty
Prefer “we propose” or “we have not identified prior work that…” over unsupported “first ever” claims. Search adjacent terminology, historical literature, standards and relevant patents. Record search scope and unresolved questions. Novelty remains human reviewed.
Security and privacy research
Protect personal data and confidential findings. Obtain appropriate consent and permissions. Coordinate responsible disclosure before releasing exploitable findings. Sensitive raw data must not be uploaded to this public media library.
Accountability
Record conflicts and actual contributor roles. Verify AI-assisted analysis. Preserve corrections and retractions without erasing earlier evidence. Policies may evolve with dated revisions.
